We are innovative leaders in everything we do. </em></strong>  </p><p>The network administrator will be responsible for the day to day network operations on behalf of the clients, as well as assist with systems and network optimal design from a strategic perspective.   </p><p><strong><em>Responsibilities:</em></strong>  </p><ul><li>Managing LAN/WAN/Wireless network devices. This includes the design, installation, upgrade,&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;configuration, and troubleshooting of networks.  </li><li>Maintain infrastructure pertaining to upgrades, break fix, and enhancements.  </li><li>Manage security solutions, including but not limited to firewall, URL filtering,  and intrusion detection&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;systems.</li><li>Establish and maintain standard system\OS upgrades for network infrastructure.  </li><li>Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.  </li><li>Participate in on-call rotation including off-hours and weekends.  </li><li>Act as an escalation point for network issues from tier 1 and 2 support.  </li></ul><p><strong><em>Qualifications:</em></strong>  </p><ul><li>Experience with configuration of switches, routers, firewalls and wireless in a mixed hardware workspace.  </li><li>Network+  </li></ul><p><strong><em>Qualifications Preferred:</em></strong>  </p><p>Cisco CCNA certification, or recognized certification experience.   </p><p><strong><u>Position Metrics</u></strong>  </p><p>-The Network Administrator must adhere to established policies and standards as defined in The Culture File.</p><ul><li>Metric: Customer notifications completed within standards 85% each quarter</li><li>Metric: tickets are updated within standards 85% each quarter</li><li>Metric: project tasks are completed within standards 85% each quarter</li></ul><p>-The Network Administrator is responsible for assisting in the design of internal Parasol Alliance network&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; systems and tools for optimal security and performance management.</p><ul><li>Metric: training videos created once/month.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong><u>Position Expectations</u></strong>  </p><p>Within the first 30 days the Network Administrator will be accountable for:  </p><ul><li>Learning and adhering to established policies and standards as defined in The Culture File.  </li><li>Learning and leveraging Parasol provided tools.  </li><li>Demonstrating competency in role responsibilities based on the above metrics.  </li></ul><p>After 60 days the Network Administrator will be accountable for:  </p><ul><li>Meeting and maintaining the above metrics while carrying a ticket load of 30-40 tickets.  </li></ul><p>&nbsp;  </p><p><strong>Benefits:</strong>  </p><ul><li>Cell phone/internet reimbursement  </li><li>Medical, dental, vision, 401k  </li><li>Responsible paid time off  </li><li>Certification reimbursement  </li></ul><p>&nbsp;  </p><p><strong>Company Culture</strong>  </p><p>We are an IT company but believe technology support should be directly related to your business success.&nbsp; Technology for technology’s sake is not what we are about.&nbsp; We intertwine the knowledge economy with technology to transform and interconnect our expertise with your company to expand the decision-making capabilities and ensure productivity and cost effectiveness.  </p><p><strong>Our Values:</strong>  </p><ul><li>Expertise  </li><li>Collaboration  </li><li>Empathy  </li><li>Integrity  </li></ul><p>If you want to work for a values driven, high performance company and to experience an exciting opportunity to help grow a company then this is the job for you.
